Professional Spicule Treatment Protocol
RETURN10 is an intensive spicule-based treatment. The characteristic prickling sensation created during application is different from the feel of a conventional serum or ampoule.
Suggested use: once every 1–2 weeks, preferably as an evening treatment.
Treatment Steps
STEP 1 — CLEANSE Thoroughly cleanse the face to remove makeup, sunscreen, excess oil and surface impurities. Pat the skin dry.
STEP 2 — PREPARE THE RETURN10 MTS SOLUTION Prepare one 3 mL RETURN10 MTS Solution vial according to the package/applicator instructions.
STEP 3 — APPLY THE SPICULE SOLUTION Distribute the MTS Solution evenly across the treatment area, avoiding the eyelids, lips and other highly sensitive areas.
STEP 4 — PRESS & MASSAGE Using clean fingertips, gently press and massage the solution into the skin for approximately 1 minute.
The pressing action is an important part of a spicule treatment. A prickling or tingling sensation may be experienced as the Hydrolyzed Sponge spicules interact with the skin.
STEP 5 — APPLY DERMA CELL REPAIR AMPOULE Follow with the included 6 mL Derma Cell Repair Ampoule. Apply evenly and gently press or pat into the skin until absorbed.
STEP 6 — ALLOW SKIN TO REST Avoid unnecessary rubbing, exfoliation or aggressive manipulation following the treatment.
What to Expect After a Spicule Treatment
Because this is a spicule-based treatment, the skin may feel noticeably different from a conventional facial.
- Temporary prickling or tingling may occur.
- Mild temporary redness or warmth may occur following application.
- The skin may remain sensitive to pressure or touch for a period after treatment.
- Dryness or light visible flaking may occur as the skin progresses through the post-treatment period.
Post-Treatment Care
Night of Treatment:
Avoid washing the treated area immediately after application unless irritation requires product removal. Avoid applying unnecessary additional products.
Following Day:
Keep the skin-care routine gentle. Avoid aggressive cleansers, scrubs and exfoliating products.
During Visible Flaking:
Allow dry or flaking skin to release naturally. Do not aggressively scrub, peel or pick the skin.
Sun Protection:
Protect the skin from excessive sun exposure and use appropriate broad-spectrum sunscreen during the daytime.
Important Precautions
- For external cosmetic use only.
- Do not apply to open wounds, actively irritated skin or visibly compromised skin.
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not aggressively scrub or massage the skin after treatment.
- Avoid combining the treatment with strong exfoliating products during the immediate post-treatment period.
- Sensitive or reactive skin should be patch tested before full-face use.
- Discontinue use and rinse the skin if significant or persistent irritation occurs.
