Operating Instructions for the Bella Microneedling Device

Step 1: Prepare the Device

Plug in the Power: Begin by plugging the power cord into an appropriate outlet.

Connect the Connector: Insert the connector into the port located at the rear of the device, ensuring it is securely connected.

Step 2: Assemble the Microneedling Head

Attach the Needle Cartridge: Remove the sterile needle cartridge from its packaging. Align it with the tip of the handpiece and gently push until it clicks into place. Turn clockwise to secure the needle. Avoid using excessive force.

Step 3: Select the Appropriate Needle Length

Adjust Needle Depth: Use the dial to adjust the needle length from 0.02mm to 2mm, based on your treatment area and skin concerns. Choose shorter needles for sensitive areas such as the forehead and around the eyes, and longer needles for more robust areas like the cheeks and forehead.

Operating the Device: Press the on/off button (Rounded translucent button) quickly to power on the device. Hold the on/off button for a few seconds to turn it off. Tap the on/off button quickly to cycle through levels 1, 2, and 3.

Step 4: Prepare Your Skin

Ensure your face is thoroughly cleansed and completely dry before beginning your microneedling session. Remove all makeup, oils, or impurities to prevent irritation.

Step 5: Sanitize Your Device

Sterilize the microneedling head using isopropyl alcohol (70% concentration) to ensure the device is free from bacteria that could cause infections.

Step 6: Apply Numbing Cream

Apply an appropriate strength of numbing cream based on the depth of microneedling. Once the numbing cream has taken effect, wipe it clean.

Step 7: Apply a Suitable Serum or Ampoule

Apply a hydrating serum or a specific microneedling solution to your face to aid the device's glide and enhance the post-treatment healing process. Choose products containing hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or peptides to promote collagen production and skin healing.

Step 8: Start Microneedling

Turn on the device and adjust it to the recommended needle length for your skin type and target area. Gently press the device against your skin, moving it in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions over each area of your face for 1-2 minutes, avoiding sensitive areas such as the eyes and lips.

Step 9: Focus on Problem Areas

Dedicate extra time to areas needing attention, such as acne scars or fine lines, being careful not to overdo it to avoid skin damage.

Step 10: Finish and Soothe

After completing the treatment, apply a cooling gel or soothing mask to reduce redness or swelling. Avoid any skincare products containing harsh chemicals, such as exfoliants or retinoids, for at least 24 hours.

Step 11: Clean and Store

Clean your device thoroughly after each use. Detach the microneedle head, rinse under warm water, and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry before reattaching and storing the device in a clean, dry place.

Aftercare Tips:

Apply healing cream and soothing gel two to three times daily for aftercare during the first 4 to 5 days.

Avoid direct sunlight and after 24 hours of treatment you can apply a broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher daily, as your skin will be more sensitive post-treatment.

Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using gentle moisturizers.

Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to heal.
