Step-by-Step Setup and Operation
- Inspect and connect the device. Check the headset, cables, and nasal applicator for damage. Plug the nasal applicator into the connection on the rear LED module.
- Connect the approved power adapter. Connect the headset's USB-A power lead to the manufacturer-provided adapter, then plug the adapter into an appropriate electrical outlet.
- Select Alpha or Gamma. Use the Duo controller's Alpha/Gamma selector switch to choose 10 Hz Alpha or 40 Hz Gamma. This is a hardware selector—not a touchscreen or smartphone-app setting.
- Position the headset. Place the front module between eye level and the crown, the center module on top of the head, the rear module near mid-ear level, and the side modules behind the crown. Adjust for secure, comfortable contact as illustrated in the user guide.
- Position the nasal applicator. Gently place it in either nostril with the lens inside and clip outside. Use the manufacturer-provided silicone sleeve if needed for a comfortable fit.
- Start the session. Press the controller's start button. The system operates for approximately 20 minutes and automatically switches off when the session is complete.
- Remove, clean, and store. Remove the device carefully without pulling on wires. Clean the nasal applicator as directed; keep the controller and headset dry and store in a protected location.

Cleaning and Storage
Nasal Applicator
