There is no age limit for being interested in science and wanting to make a difference. These three young inventors started creating solutions to change the world when they were teenagers and continue to do so today.
Dr. Joanne Kamens’ interest in science goes back to childhood and her inquisitive nature about how the world worked. From here, Dr. Kamens went on to study biology at the University of Pennsylvania and then earned her Ph.D. in genetics from Harvard University.
